V Is for Vino, America’s #1 Wine Show, Returns for Season 3

LOS ANGELES, April 29, 2021 — V is for Vino, America’s #1 Wine Show, released its much anticipated Season 3 on April 29th to visforvino.com, YouTube, and Roku. Episodes include Walla Walla (Washington), Ensenada (Mexico), and the Finger Lakes (New York).

V is for Vino follows host and sommelier Vince as he hits the road to explore wine regions and their people, history, culture, food, and wine topics. In Season 3, the show focused on “The Spirit of Community” that is found in each wine region visited; the winemakers, locals, and tourists coming together to make a wine region great.

“The difference between good and great wine regions are the people. In a year where everyone had to rely on their community more than ever, we wanted to explore the risk-takers, innovators, and collaborative nature of wine regions,” says Vince Anter, host and founder.

The Reviews Are In:

“Amazon recommended this to me based on my history of travel/food viewing and this show hits it out of the park. It’s so informative while remaining accessible. Vince is a great host, you immediately feel like you want to be friends with him…Vince managed to explain complex concepts in accessible ways that didn’t insult my intelligence.” -Jennifer, 08-02-20, Amazon Prime

If you haven’t yet been bitten by the wine bug and gone down that rabbit hole of wine exploration, watch this and get hooked. “What really makes this program work is that the host explains the wine, people, place and the food in an unforgettable way. He makes you want to drink the wine, eat the food and go to the places he visits.” -Armond M., 07-01-20, Amazon Prime

Season 3 Episodes:

Episode 1: Walla Walla, Washington – Besides California, Washington makes more wine than any other state, and the Walla Walla AVA is the largest production hub and center of wine hospitality for the wine industry there. Vince meets with Madeline Puckette from “Wine Folly” to try some of Walla Walla’s most exclusive wines, before meeting with Woodward Canyon Winery, L’Ecole No 41, & Abeja Winery for wine tastings. Finally, Vince visits Walla Walla Steak Co to cap his trip with an epic steak dinner.

Episode 2: Ensenada, Mexico – Heading south of the border, Vince heads to the Ensenada area of Mexico to visit the up-and-coming Valle de Guadalupe wine region. He starts his journey driving through the US/Mexico International border, before continuing to Bar Andaluz, which is rumored to have invented the margarita. Next, he heads to Vinícola Retorno to taste wines at a small, bootstrapped winery and learn about the freedom this young region provides. Finally, he caps his trip dining with 6 of Mexico’s best winemakers at the world-renowned restaurant, Fauna.

Episode 3: Finger Lakes, New York – Who says you can’t grow wine in the cold? Vince heads to western New York in the middle of winter, to talk about the Finger Lakes wine region and its most important grape, Riesling. After exploring Watkins Glenn State Park, Vince visits Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery to learn about Konstantin Frank, and why wine in the Finger Lakes doesn’t exist without him. Next, he heads to Fox Run Vineyards and Sheldrake Point winery, to taste all sorts of styles of Riesling; dry, off-dry, sweet, and aged. 1. My daughter’s boyfriends parents and grandparents have a Vineyard and Winery shops of Ensenada about 30 MI. They don’t sell their product outside of Mexico yet. Probably too much red tape. Can you please send me this column about Mexican wine translated into Spanish please?
    Mucho thank yous
