00 Wines “Double Zero“ Release 2018 Corton Charlemagne Available Exclusively to Club Members

Only Fifty Spots Available for 2021 Wine Club Membership with Award-Winning, Bi-Continental  00 Wines of Willamette Valley and France, Where Members Receive Access To Limited Supply of Their Newly Released 2018 Corton-Charlemagne

Carlton, OR (April 19, 2021) – Following September’s release of the 2018 vintage themed Le Réve, the Dream, ultra-luxury producers 00 Wines “Double Zero” announce limited availability for new applicants into the 00 Wines wine club composed of collectors and serious enthusiasts in conjunction with the anticipated arrival of the 2018 Corton-Charlemagne.

Due to it’s rising cult wine status, only 50 spots remain in the 00 Wines wine club where each 00 Wines Willamette Valley vintage portfolio is released as a collection two years after its harvest, and French projects producing micro-lot Grand Cru chardonnay are released on a rolling basis. With an overwhelming amount of inquires surrounding the recent release of the 2018 vintage wines, notably the 2018 Corton-Charlemagne that shows enormous freshness, aggressive minerality, and fine texture, proprietor Chris Hermann urges enthusiasts and discerning collectors who may be pondering a wine club membership to do so while there is opportunity to try these exclusive wines.

“The intense interest surrounding the 00 Wines 2018 Corton-Charlemagne is well-justified as these astonishing wines are utterly complete in only the way that great Grand Cru White Burgundies can be. As the fruit for the 00 Corton-Charlemagne is soured from the East side of the hill where beautifully chalky soils and ancient fossils are commingled, the resulting wine is austere when young with extraordinary depth, tension, and a succulent richness with cellaring potential for 10 to 30 years. They are truly exquisite now and later, and we’re delighted to share them with our members while supplies last.”

The 00 Wines 2018 Corton Charlemagne is produced in partnership with Pierre Millemann of Millemann Consulting who works to ensure consistency among the French and Willamette Valley wines. Specifically, the wine is harvested, crushed, pressed, and fermented in a single 500L oak puncheon. Following, the wine is barreled for 12 months in stainless steel, and finished for six months on fine lees.

A six bottle allocation of the 00 Wines 2018 Corton-Charlemagne is available through membership to the 00 Wines wine club only. A semi-annual investment with shipments in fall and spring, members receive private access to library wines, large formats, single vineyard Willamette Valley wines, and French wines when available. A membership with 00 Wines also ensures educational content on harvest reports and invitations to members-only tasting events.

The 00 Wines 2016 Blanc de Blancs Champagne sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil sur Oger will make its debut in the coming months, available exclusively to wine club members and select reviewers.

00 Wines have distribution with limited allocation at select retailers in CA, AZ, MA and HI, and are available for purchase through e-commerce at www.00wines.com. For more information, to review, or schedule a tasting, contact Michelle Metter at metter@fastforwardevents.com.
