Cyril Chappellet Welcomes Bryan Flannery of Flannery Beef

Thursday, April 29 at 4:30pm PT – If you love pairing dry-aged steak with world-class wine, you don’t want to miss Cyril Chappellet’s talk with Bryan Flannery, the owner of San Rafael-based Flannery Beef. Featured in Sunset magazine’s 2021 Pantry Awards, Food & WineRobb ReportBloomberg, and Fortune, Flannery Beef is one of the world’s finest family-run purveyors of prime, dry-aged beef. In fact, the illustrious Robert Parker once wrote of Flannery Beef that, “I finally know what a 100-point steak tastes like.” Chappellet’s own grill master, Cyril Chappellet, will be joining Bryan for a fun and informative discussion about the virtues of dry aging and which breeds make for the best beef, while offering demonstrations of tips and techniques for cooking a perfect steak. To pair with Bryan’s steaks, we’ll be pouring the renowned 2018 Chappellet Signature Cabernet Sauvignon and 2017 Chappellet Cabernet Franc. We hope that you will join us as we sharpen our knives and our palates for this delectable tasting!

As pioneers of high-elevation vineyard planting in California, the Chappellet family has spent five decades making some of California’s most sought-after wines, with an emphasis on cabernet sauvignons from Napa Valley’s famed Pritchard Hill. The Chappellets have been crafting extraordinary, age-worthy wines since 1967.
