3/31/2021 – Saint Helena, CA  – The best week in the Napa Valley wine business is back. The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) are excited to announce that registration for Premiere Napa Valley is open. For this year only, Premiere Napa Valley is scheduled for the week of June 1 with the grand finale on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Napa Valley winemakers craft their finest wines exclusively for Premiere Napa Valley, and they are excited to debut the elegant 2019 vintage at this year’s auction. A handful of wineries will also provide a sneak peek of Pinot Noir and several white wine varieties from 2020.

“Our wineries can’t wait to share their latest in innovation and creativity through the wines of Premiere Napa Valley and to show the world that our commitment to excellence is unwavering,” said Andy Erickson, owner and winemaker of Favia and one of the Co-Chairs of Premiere Napa Valley.

To ensure a positive experience for all, the NVV has developed a hybrid approach for this year’s Premiere Napa Valley allowing trade members to select either in person or online participation. The week’s activities in both formats include educational seminars and private tastings of the barrel lots.&nbs p;

“After a challenging 2020, connecting with our friends and partners in the wine trade will be especially meaningful. We’re really looking forward to spending time together here in Napa Valley as well virtually,” said Linda Reiff, CEO and President of Napa Valley Vintners.

To take it to the next level of professionalism and sophistication, the live auction will be powered by Zachys, one of the foremost wine auction houses.  The grand finale live auction will be held outside at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. Bids will be accepted virtually coupled with the small, safe in-person gathering.

Premiere Napa Valley turns 25 this year. In the spirit of collaboration, the past honorary chairs have come together to lead this year’s unique endeavor. All proceeds from Premiere Napa Valley will go directly to fund programs to promote, protect and enhance Napa Valley.
