March 23rd -Kennewick, Washington – Lisa Petersen is joining the executive team at Vintners Logistics as Chief Operating Officer on April 5. Lisa will serve as the head of operations — a new position for Vintners Logistics, one of the wine industry’s leading providers of logistics, warehousing and transportation solutions.
A graduate of Oregon State University, Petersen brings more than 25 years of industry experience and 15 years of executive management to Vintners Logistics. For the last eight years, Petersen served as the Director of Intermodal Services for Independent Dispatch, Inc. in Portland, Oregon where she was responsible for the company’s transportation and logistics operations. Prior, Petersen served in executive roles for Market Transport, Ltd.
The move into the wine industry is a return to Petersen’s roots. Her passion for wine stems from growing up in Dundee, Oregon where she watched her grandmother’s orchard become one of the first vineyards in the region.
At Vintners Logistics, Petersen’s decades-long love of wine, agriculture and small business enables her to combine her career with her enthusiasm for wine. “My husband, Steve, and I, look forward to this new adventure and being part of the Tri-Cities community,” says Petersen.
