(St. Helena, Calif.—March 11, 2021)— St. Helena’s ACME Fine Wines, today announced that it will be launching ACME Unfiltered: Tastings & Truffles, a new private, by-appointment-only virtual wine tasting and cooking classes in partnership with Truffle Shuffle, whose fresh truffle gift set was recently named as “One of Oprah’s Favorite Things.”
Classes will be co-hosted by Truffle Shuffle Chefs and Founders, Jason McKinney, Tyler Vorce, Sarah McKinney and their talented team,gy alongside ACME General Manager, Lauren Van Ness, who all worked together at the famed Michelin three-star restaurant The French Laundry.
ACME Unfiltered: Tastings & Truffles offers a choice of decadent main courses for the class, which could include Black Truffle Risotto, Truffle Mac & Cheese, Lemon Ricotta Gnocchi with Sage, or NY Strip Seared Steak with Truffles and Mushrooms. (Kindly note that Truffle Shuffle’s culinary offerings change seasonally.) ACME’s sommelier team will select three different exclusive wines to taste while cooking the dish of your choice. Truffle Shuffle and ACME will coordinate the shipping logistics of all wine and ingredients for the classes nation-wide, making this a prep-free event for both the hosts and attendees.
ACME Unfiltered: Tastings & Truffles provides an incredible opportunity for a virtual group activity for family, friends, and colleagues across the country, allowing them to connect, cook and taste. Gifting and event opportunities abound; Tastings & Truffles could be a unique wedding or 21-plus graduation present and would also be perfect for a bridal shower, engagement party or team-building activity.
ACME Unfiltered: Tastings & Truffles will be arranged on a mutually agreeable date for Truffle Shuffle, ACME, and the participants. For this fully private Tastings & Truffles experience, ACME requires a minimum of eight households at $300/per household (exclusive of sales tax and shipping). The per household cost includes three bottles of exclusive, exemplary wines selected by the ACME sommelier team and all ingredients from Truffle Shuffle for a main course for two people. While working in the best Michelin Star restaurant kitchens, including The French Laundry, Chefs Jason McKinney and Tyler Vorce loved incorporating truffles into their dishes.
