Napa Valley, February 18, 2021—Visit Napa Valley, the official destination management organization for Napa County, has welcomed Xavier Roque as a senior communications associate, Brittnay Ambrosini as executive office manager and Whitney MacDonald as a senior manager partnership and guest experience. The new hires are part of Visit Napa Valley’s ongoing commitment to its partners and the community and will be essential as the organization ramps up marketing to revive visitor spending throughout the valley once again.

“With increasing availability of coronavirus vaccines on the horizon, we are optimistic for a more prosperous 2021 for our Napa Valley tourism partners,” said Linsey Gallagher, president and CEO of Visit Napa Valley. “These new team members will be essential in helping us welcome visitors back and ensuring that they have access to updated information about where to stay, what to do and how to visit safely.”

Xavier Roque, Senior Communications Associate

Xavier Roque will support Visit Napa Valley’s social media, community and sales programs. Prior to Visit Napa Valley, he was an account executive at Lucas Public Affairs in Sacramento, where he honed his media, strategic writing, planning and research skills for clients in tourism, higher education, retail and healthcare. Roque graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication and minors in Spanish and French from the University of California, Davis. He is an avid runner and yogi and also loves to travel.

Brittnay Ambrosini, Executive Office Manager

In her role as executive office manager, Brittnay Ambrosini will provide CEO administrative support and oversee daily office operations and procedures including coordinating Visit Napa Valley’s board meetings. Prior to Visit Napa Valley, she spent 10 years at Meadowood Napa Valley and was most recently the senior conference services manager providing top notch service to business travelers to the valley. Ambrosini found her new opportunity with Visit Napa Valley after her Meadowood position was eliminated due to the recent wildfires. In her spare time, she enjoys all things outdoors, especially camping with her family.

Whitney Macdonald, Senior Manager Partnership and Guest Experience

Whitney Macdonald joined the Visit Napa Valley team in November in the newly created position of senior manager partnership and guest experience. She serves as the primary liaison for Visit Napa Valley’s tourism partners that include hotels, wineries, restaurants, attractions and more throughout Napa Valley. Whitney also supervises the operation of the newly reopened Napa Valley Welcome Center located on First Street in downtown Napa. Prior to joining the Visit Napa Valley team, Whitney served as a hospitality manager for Stony Hill Vineyards. With more than 18 years of hospitality experience, Whitney looks forward to sharing her extensive knowledge in tourism and wine education with visitors to ensure they make the most out of their Napa Valley experience. Outside of work, Whitney enjoys baking and has a passion for beekeeping.
