Jeb Dunnuck Announces the Addition of Italian Wine Coverage to JebDunnuck.com

Audrey Frick to join JebDunnuck.com covering the wines of Italy

(Boulder, CO – December 9, 2020) — Noted wine-critic Jeb Dunnuck, owner of JebDunnuck.com, announced today that Audrey Frick will join his publication covering the wines of Italy.

“It has always been my aim to offer comprehensive, consumer-focused coverage of the most interesting wines from around the world and I am now excited to include Italy in that line-up,” said Dunnuck. “I am thrilled that Audrey Frick will join me as a contributing editor covering the regions of Brunello and Piedmont to start. I have known Audrey for nearly a decade, and she has worked with me on numerous regional and importer portfolio tastings for JebDunnuck.com.”

“I think there is so much value and quality in Italian wine today when you scratch beneath the surface,” said Frick.  “I have long admired and enjoyed working with Jeb and his approach to wine criticism.  Wine criticism can highlight wines strengths and help inform the reader on what to drink, when to drink it, and what to have on the table alongside it and I look forward to bringing insights to the subscribers of JebDunnuck.com.”

Frick honed her knowledge of Italian wine after gaining the notice of Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey. Hired at his Northern-Italian restaurant Frasca in Boulder, CO, she worked her way from the back office and polishing room to the wine team while studying to earn the Advanced Sommelier credential through the Court of Master Sommeliers. She then joined Frasca’s sister restaurant Tavernetta, in Denver, as a member of its opening wine team, before becoming lead sommelier. There, she worked to foster a culture of wine education for the staff, with an all-Italian wine list.

Frick is based in New York City.

Dunnuck will continue to focus on the wines from California, Washington, Southern France, and Bordeaux.

Dunnuck’s goal with JebDunnuck.com is to provide insight and up-to-date information that can’t be found anywhere else. “Too often today, the ‘story’ behind a wine is put before the quality of a wine,” Dunnuck said. “I want to help consumers cut through the marketing and the spin and zero in on what’s in the glass. I plan to deliver the information consumers really need to know when trying to decide what to buy and what to drink.”
