Prowine Asia LogoMesse Düsseldorf Asia announced that ProWine Asia (Singapore) will be cancelled and will take place in 2022, with the new dates to be released soon. Co-organized with Informa Markets, the 2020 edition of the International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits dedicated to the Southeast Asian region was originally rescheduled  for March 2- 5, 2021 at the Singapore Expo.

For 2021, the organizers will focus on ProWine Asia (Hong Kong) which will take place from May 12-14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ProWine Asia stagings  alternate annually between the two cities. ProWine Asia (Singapore) and ProWine Asia (Hong Kong) are part of the international wine and spirits trade fair portfolio of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany.

Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, commented: “We are confident that the move to 2022 will better position ProWine Asia (Singapore) to deliver customer expectations and performance success for the wines and spirits sector, particularly since the rich international profile of participants is the very hallmark of the trade fair. Moving the Singapore edition to 2022 will provide a longer period for economic recovery, and together with the resumption of global travel, international wines and spirits producers will be better prepared to do business  as the industry rebounds and prepares for growth in Southeast Asia. Direct access to key and new markets in the region, innovation, and new routes to market such as e-commerce, will be essential, and we look forward to delivering these possibilities with renewed enthusiasm for ProWine Asia (Singapore) 2022. We would like to thank all industry partners, exhibitors and visitors for their continued support as we adapt to shifting conditions together.

As a trade-focused event presenting international wine and spirits brands and lables, ProWine Asia (Singapore) is a 4 day meeting platform for brand owners, producers, distributors, buyers, specialty retailers, sommeliers, bartenders and industry professionals from the region, .
