Yamhill CarltonCarlton, Oregon (November 19, 2020) — The Yamhill-Carlton American Viticultural Area has introduced a new collaborative program to benefit Yamhill Carlton Together Cares, a community organization serving local children and families. This set of charity mixed wine packs showcases the best of the region, with top Pinot Noirs from more than thirty Yamhill-Carlton winegrowers. A limited number of collections are now available for purchase on Yamhill-Carlton’s website

Founded in 1998, Yamhill Carlton Together Cares (YCTC) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization serving critical needs in the greater Carlton and Yamhill areas with a focus on youth and families. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization’s fundraising events were seriously altered. In an effort to help fill the void, the Yamhill-Carlton AVA wine program aims to raise $5,000 for YCTC. This contribution will help fund programs developed by the non-profit, providing local youth with useful community roles, safe and healthy activities and good role models.

Participating wineries include Belle Pente, Big Table Farm, Elk Cove, and Lemelson Vineyards, among many others. The wine packs sold as part of this fundraising initiative feature a mix of six wines from six different producers, all around $50 a bottle. These special collections, selected at random upon purchase, are offered until they sell out and are available for $250 each, which includes shipping in Oregon.

These wine packs are pre-selected and cannot be customized. Packs can be shipped within Oregon or are available for curbside pickup at Carlton Cellars. The full list of participating wineries is included below.
