After launching a successful digital wine shop last year, the founders of 305 Wines have landed a permanent location in South Miami, just in time for the holidays.

Miami, FL (November 17, 2020) — The team behind 305 Wines, the digital wine shop that has become a South Florida staple for providing high-quality, curated wines delivered to their client’s doorstep is slated to open a retail location this fall. In a time when wine consumers are shifting to shop local, 305 Wines will make Palmetto Bay, South Miami, its permanent home with curbside pickup available and free delivery to Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Coral Gables and South Miami.

To further promote a premium wine tasting experience, 305 Wines will offer guided wine tastings by multi-certified educators from the Florida Wine Academy. In addition to selling high-quality wines from around the world, the boutique retail wine shop will also provide curated wine packs for any occasion and consumer, from the curious wine student, to corporate gifting. Special wine packs for the holiday season including Thanksgiving and Christmas will also be available.

Owners Alessandra Esteves and Guillerme De Mercado have become staples in the Miami wine community after traveling wine regions across the world and making Miami home to Florida Wine Academy, the leading wine, spirits and sake education provider in Florida since 2016. The Master of Wine candidate and Master Sake Sommelier then started 305 Wines, which recently celebrated its first-year anniversary, with the vision of providing a new service for their students to purchase wine through a digital platform. The duo has continued their vision of bringing their influence and knowledge to Miami with the organization of Miami Champagne Week, now in its fifth year celebrating all things Champagne, and VinoSummit, the first conference dedicated to wine professionals in South Florida. As an effort to make wine education accessible in light of the pandemic, Alessandra, Guillerme, and the team at Florida Wine Academy have also hosted a series of webinars both independently  and in collaboration with networks such as Yelp Miami.

“The opening of 305 Wines is particularly special during this time when the wine industry is being challenged profoundly due to the pandemic,” said Co-Founder of 305 Wines and Florida Wine Academy, Alessandra Esteves. “Our priority is to make wine shopping easy by offering guidance and recommendations to help our clients choose the best wine for them. We’re excited to offer Miami wine aficionados the opportunity to now shop local,” she added.

305 Wines is scheduled to open to the public on November 20 and will continue to ship nationally to over 15 states, with curbside pickup available upon request. Masks are required upon entry and while shopping.
