New York, 9/1/2020 – In a time when direct access to consumers has become even more important, the Trento Doc Institute augments its digital presence by providing wine lovers and professionals with a mobile application designed to accompany users in tasting the finest metodo classico bubbles from Trentino, Italy. This unique app, dedicated to a specific wine denomination, includes 55 sparkling wine houses, 200 points of interest, 175 technical tasting sheets, and a section dedicated to guided tastings, enclosing the whole world of Trentodoc.
Sabrina Schench, Director of the Trento Doc Institute, comments, “We believe it is important to equip ourselves with tools that help Trentodoc enthusiasts in all types of situations, including tastings at home, and in person events, providing the most accurate information in a clean and simple way. The app comes at an important time as we continue to be more efficient and sustainable in our everyday lives “.
Designed to meet the needs of audiences with various objectives, the Trentodoc App allows consumers to explore, through seven navigation areas, its famous classic method winemaking process, the sparkling wine houses and the territory. By personalizing their experience, each user can build an archive consisting of favorite wines, personal notes, and wish lists that can also be saved offline. The App has an Events section, which is constantly updated with activations and tastings (online too!) organized by the Trento Doc Institute.
The Trentodoc App is available on the App Store and Google Play and is designed with the latest generation software and a very simple interface in order to provide the user with the best possible navigation.
Founded in 1984, the Istituto Trento Doc promotes and safeguards the wines of Trentodoc, a denomination that now represents 55 sparkling wine producers from the Trentino region in northern Italy. Giulio Ferrari first began producing sparkling wine there in 1902 after visiting the Champagne region of France. The Trentodoc denomination was established in 1993 and is the first Italian DOC to produce only Classic Method sparkling wines. In 2007, the collective Trentodoc trademark was created, allowing the sparkling wines of Trentino designated as Trento D.O.C. to use it, thereby relaying the origin, connection with the territory, and excellence of Italy’s unique sparkling wine.
