Vinsent.wineVinsent Logo is a marketplace dedicated to wine producers who want to sell their wines en primeur directly to wine connoisseurs.

Several well-known Italian, Spanish, French, Israeli and American producers are proposing wines that are still ageing in their cellars. For example, wine lovers can purchase Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2015 directly from Argiano and also Chambolle-Musigny 2018 from Edouard Delaunay, the Reserva Especial 2016 by CVNE in Spain.

The predominately American customer base can therefore purchase great wines at an early stage and not only get a great price but also be sure of the availability of the product. The American market is massive and also complex because of the 3 third system, making it sometimes difficult to access great wines and small productions and handcrafted wines which are most often produced in limited quantities.
Thanks to this innovative model, wine lovers can be certain they purchase their wines directly from the estate and therefore avoid all risk of fraud and counterfeit.  On this delicate note, Vinsent.wine has developed its own system using the technology from Blockchain to guarantee a transparent transaction between the wine producer and the buyer. By allowing the wine producers to sell all or part of their production en primeur, Vinsent.wine is participating in the success of the vintage and the sales of the wines via traditional distribution channels.

With the help of the Vinsent platform, the winemaker will have a direct link with the consumer and will therefore be able to gather useful data to fully understand their customers.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the wine industry is facing big challenges and is witnessing behavioural changes from wine consumers. For those who wish to help by buying wines en primeurs, they will be helping producers by alleviating some of the financial burden in these difficult times. This crisis is also impacting most professional fairs and the primeur week which was supposed to take place at the end of March 2020- this week gives buyers the opportunity to discover the vintage and they can then propose these wines to connoisseurs.

To allow their clients to access the 2019 vintage, Vinsent.wine has been able to secure allocations from great estates within a partnership with Bordeaux wine merchants, such as Château Pape Clément, Château Pichon Comtesse, Château Cheval Blanc, Château Angélus, Château Figeac, Château Haut Bailly and many others. The Bordeaux 2019 wines will be registered in the blockchain and offered for sale to American wine lovers – prices include delivery and customs clearance in the USA (where the law allows this).

“This vintage is very successful and the price is attractive, this will allow many connoisseurs to reconnect with Bordeaux. In recent years, Bordeaux bashing has pushed many customers away and has reduced many references from wine shops and restaurants in the US.” States Jacob Ner-David, Co-founder of Vinsent.wine.
