O'Neill Vintners LogoWHO: O’Neill Vintners & Distillers, the seventh-largest winery in California and owner of nationally-distributed wine brands such as Line39 Wines and Harken Chardonnay, is partnering with the Southern Smoke Foundation to raise money for Restaurant Workers Community Fund. The fundraising effort is in response to recent COVID19-related restaurant shutdowns. O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has pledged $25,000 to the Restaurant Workers Community Fund’s (RWCF) COVID19 Emergency Relief Fund and is asking the community to give what they can.

WHAT: RWCF is a non-profit directing money to those leading on-the-ground efforts in the restaurant community. Donations also bolster the RWCF’s impact investing budget which provides zero-interest loans to businesses to assist in re-opening once this crisis has passed, and will help to establish a relief fund for individual workers facing economic hardships or health crises as a direct result of COVID-19. 100% of proceeds go directly to the fund.

WHERE: Donors can give through GoFundMe. Individuals interested in applying for assistance may apply through the fundraiser’s application partner, the Southern Smoke Foundation.

WHEN: This is an ongoing effort.
