Niles, IL – February 28th, 2020 – Winesellers, Ltd., the family-owned, global importer and marketer of fine wines, and Michael Hope, owner and founder of Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley of Australia, are proud to announce a partnership with the Australian Koala Foundation – ‘Hope for the Koalas’ Campaign.
Australia’s Koala population has been decimated by the devastating bushfires that have made worldwide headlines. Much of Australia’s east coast has been affected by these fires, this same area is where much the Koala population live. It is estimated that over 10,000 koalas have been killed from the fires, and as much as 80% of their habitat destroyed.
The ‘Hope for the Koalas’ campaign will donate $1 for every bottle of Hope Estate wine sold throughout all 50 states during the months of May, June, and July.
“It is our responsibility to be good citizens, so we are committed to making a lasting impact in the Koala habitat where they and we call home,” said Michael Hope, Winemaker & Owner of Hope Estate Winery.
The wines included in this campaign are Hope Estate Hunter Valley Chardonnay, Hope Estate Hunter Valley Shiraz, and Hope Estate ‘The Ripper’ Western Australia Shiraz.
