Jordan Winery Announces 2020 Events Calendar

New dinner parties, more vineyard tastings and picnic lunch experiences unveiled

Jordan Vineyard & WineryHEALDSBURG, Calif. (January 23, 2020)—Culinary-focused Jordan Vineyard & Winery, committed to wines of balance and elegance since 1972, announces its 2020 schedule of events. Highlights of the Healdsburg winery’s events calendar include four picnic day lunches, two new prix fixe dinners in its recently remodeled dining room, expanded dates for seasonal vineyard tastings launched last summer and a special tasting celebrating the release of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon’s 40th anniversary vintage.

With the 2019 completion of its formal dining room, reimagined by interior designer Geoffrey De Sousa, Jordan will host four seven-course, food-and-wine pairing dinners by executive chef, Todd Knoll. In addition to the annual Valentine’s Dinner in winter and Dinner with the Winemakers in spring, a summer dinner featuring special vintages from three decades and a fall dinner featuring large-format bottles will be hosted.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary vintage of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon, Jordan is hosting a New Release Tasting on May 2 to celebrate the 2016 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon release. Rare tastes of the 1976 will also be featured.

Due to the success of the first season of the Chateau Block Vineyard Tasting experience in 2019, Jordan is expanding the cabernet sauvignon- and salumi-focused tasting to be hosted four days per week instead of three, with tastings beginning in May and concluding in October. (Tastings debuted in late June last year.)

After unveiling a new butler’s pantry at its first picnic lunch event in 2019, Jordan will host four picnic day lunches over two weeks this summer. All events will be ticketed with advance reservations required, but that’s about all the planning guests will have to do. Picnic-goers are greeted with a glass of Champagne, a picnic basket and a blanket before choosing their spot on the Jordan lawns and picking jars of edible eats at the butler’s pantry.

With the addition of two dinner parties in the dining room, Sunset Supper at Vista Point and Bastille Day culinary events are on hiatus in 2020.

Tickets for our winter events are sold out, and all spring events (vineyard hikes and one dinner party) go on sale January 29 at www.jordanwinery.com/events. Summer and fall event tickets sale dates will be announced this spring. For tickets prices, dates and other details on each event, view the Jordan Winery calendar of events highlights below.
