The Winemaker’s Database Inc. designs, develops, maintains and supports winery management and wine production software. Founded in 1983 by winemaker/enologist Dr. James Vahl, The Winemaker’s Database will celebrate its 37th harvest with the 2019 vintage. WMDB for Windows was introduced in 1995, and since that time over 23 modules have been developed for the standard software. The Cloud-Based or Full Install software is available as single site, enterprise, and customized versions, all of which can be integrated with ERP, financial, other enterprise applications as well as tank temperature control systems, analytical equipment, weigh stations and bar coding equipment. The Winemaker’s Database is installed on four continents at wineries ranging in size from 1,000 cases to multinationals with tens of millions of cases annually. The company installed its first system in 1983, and has since contributed to the success of the world’s best-known wine brands.
