Sonoma, CA (January 13, 2020) – Proprietor Michael Muscardini has been a maverick winemaker in Sonoma Valley for 15 years. Michael Muscardini is making just 5,000 cases a year of mostly classic Italian reds as well as robust blends and Cabernet Sauvignon. He is one of the winemakers that has been leading the way in the revival of Sangiovese and Barbera wines in Sonoma since 2005. Michael’s deep community ties and warm relationships with local growers enables him to source some of the best fruit for his wines from some of the best vineyards in the county and beyond. He is proud to share this day with you and would be honored for you to join him in celebrating 15 wonderful years in Sonoma Valley at our 15th Anniversary Party.

~ Journeyman Meat Co. Charcuterie boards will feature selections of Muscardini Cellars wine-infused salume. Salume selections include our “Finocchiona” infused with Barbera & Fennel and our “Soppressata” infused with Cabernet, Garlic, & Red Chili Peppers.
~ Tsar Nicoulai Caviar has sustainably cultivated world-renowned caviar from 100% American White Sturgeon. Their artisanal caviar is natural, fresh, additive free and enjoys a loyal following of fine food enthusiasts who prefer the simple goodness of a quality product. Enjoy selections of caviar with our 2018 Pinot Grigio and 2018 Rosato di Sangiovese.
~Fuel the Food Truck, our favorite local Sonoma County food truck, will be at our 15th Anniversary Party serving delicious food and coffee! Menu items include their Three Cheese Melt, Reuben, BLT, seeded avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, artisan coffee and so much more.
2017 FORTUNA RELEASE
Our 15th Anniversary Party will feature the release of our 2017 FORTUNA. This seductive, robust red blend features fruit grown on the BWise Estate in Sonoma Valley’s Moon Mountain District. Michael Muscardini and Brion Wise have had a long-time friendship and Muscardini Cellars is the only winery to get some of the amazing fruit from the BWise Estate. For that, Muscardini Cellars is very fortunate to be able to produce this wine and we are very excited to release this new vintage on January 25th.
PLEASE NOTE: On Saturday, January 25th, tastings will conclude at 2:00 PM.
Wine by the glass and bottle will be available for purchase during the event.
