Former COO Matthew Dellar, MW to Return to his Native New Zealand for Family Reasons; Iconic Napa Winery Promotes Elizabeth Robertis to General Manager
(St. Helena, Calif.—January 8, 2020) – TOR Wines, founded in 2001 by Napa icon Tor Kenward, today announces the departure of Matthew Deller, MW, who will be returning to his home country of New Zealand to be closer to family. “Matt’s contributions to TOR wines over the year and a half he worked with us were significant. His passion for fine wine, business acumen, and warm personality made him a triple threat COO,” explained Kenward, founder of TOR Wines. “Matt made us a better wine company. All of us at TOR wines will truly miss him.”
Elizabeth Robertis, Director of Private Clients, has been promoted to General Manager. “Both Matt and I felt lucky when Elizabeth joined us six months ago. Her vast experience in the wine industry should make the transition seamless,” added Kenward.
Robertis was born and raised in Napa Valley, and her father David Hudgins, is a partner in the Bond Pluribus vineyard and has been a grower in the Valley for the past 45 years. Prior to joining TOR, Robertis was the General Manager of Arrow & Branch and the Director of Sales and Marketing for OVID. Napa Valley. Additionally, Robertis has ten years of public relations experience working both at Constellation Wines US and Walt Disney Studios. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo.
