The Sauvignon Blanc Became an Instant Hit and Has Successfully Sold Over 400K Bottles in Just Three Months
NEW YORK, NY (December 5, 2019) – Sarah Jessica Parker and Invivo & Co launched their new Sauvignon Blanc wine “Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker” on September 18th in New York City. Since launching in September, the wine has become an instant hit and Invivo has successfully sold over 400K bottles globally, which is all their allocation for annual sales. Invivo X, SJP is now available in major retailers such as Costco, Safeway, BevMo!, Jewel Osco, Albertson’s and more throughout the United States at a suggested retail price of $20.
“BevMo! Is super excited to partner with X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc on this product launch. We fully support brand & product innovation and appreciate the first to market opportunity for our customers,” states Caylin Castner, Wine Buyer at BevMo!.
The unique collaboration between Invivo and Sarah Jessica Parker is proving to be a successful wine partnership. Sarah Jessica has been involved in each step of building the brand from the label design to the final blending session sign off with the Invivo team, and even taking a seat on the Board of the company.
“We are really proud with the work we have put into this wine and happy to see it selling so well,” states Sarah Jessica Parker. “Being able to share it with consumers globally, who can take it home to enjoy with family and friends this holiday season, is very rewarding.”
In addition to the US, the wine is available globally including Canada, Ireland, UK, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The wine has also been selected for Business Class on Qantas Airways, the largest international Australian airline company.
Invivo Co-Founder Tim Lightbourne adds “The Invivo team were very excited to the launch the Invivo X, SJP brand after all the effort behind the scenes. Our goal was for customers to purchase the wine because they’re interested in Sarah Jessica’s new collaboration, and then return to it because of the wine’s quality. With the early sales results in, we’re seeing this happening!”
“Invivo X, SJP” has already won a number of awards from just receiving a Blue Gold medal in the 40th Sydney International Wine Competition, GOLD medal at the New Zealand International Wine Show, GOLD medal at the New World Wine Awards and being named “Double Gold” at the 2019 China Wine & Spirit Awards to “Gold and 95 Points” at a national New Zealand competition, and Wine Orbit’s Sam Kim also gave the wine a 95-point rating, saying: “The palate delivers excellent concentration and weight, wonderfully complemented by fine texture and brilliant focus. It is deliciously expressed and textually delightful, making it hugely appealing.”
On December 2nd in NYC, Sarah Jessica Parker met with Invivo Co-Founders Tim Lightborne and Rob Cameron to blend the new Invivo X, SJP Rosé from grapes harvested this month. The Rosé, which will be available in the Spring 2020, is from the South of France and will be added to the Sarah Jessica Parker collection of wines with Invivo. “Blending the rosé was a fulfilling experience and I am looking forward to adding it to our collection of wines,” adds Sarah Jessica Parker.

ABOUT INVIVO & CO
Invivo’s mission is to bring people together so great things can happen. Invivo has been described as “New Zealand’s most innovative winery.” Founded in 2008 by school friends Tim Lightbourne and winemaker Rob Cameron, Invivo set out to make great wine without the elitist attitude the industry can be known for, they believe that nothing should stand in the way of a great drink. 11 years later, the formula has been a success, with their wines receiving over 200 international wine show medals, distribution in 16 countries and sales of over 3,500,000 bottles. Invivo has also recently released a Gin brand in partnership with Graham Norton. Invivo has played a role in helping New Zealand become the 3rd largest importer of wine into the US (by value) behind France and Italy. USA is New Zealand’s largest export market for wine with $422 million USD in sales. This is an impressive statistic considering that NZ produces less than 1% of all the world’s wine. www.InvivoXsjp.com, www.invivowines.com
