Airfield Estates Coming Soon to the Vancouver Waterfront

Vancouver, Washington–Sept. 17, 2019–Airfield Estates Winery is pleased to announce the opening of the Airfield Estates tasting room on the Vancouver Waterfront later this year. The new facility will be located at 760 Waterfront Way on the ground floor of the beautiful, new RiverWest Building Complex with scenic views of the Columbia River and Waterfront Park. The opening of the location on the Vancouver Waterfront, anticipated by end of October 2019, marks the third tasting room for Airfield Estates with existing Washington state locations in Prosser and Woodinville.

“We are thrilled to be expanding into one of the most dynamic areas of the Pacific Northwest,” said Lori Stevens, owner of Airfield Estates. “Vancouver has been on our radar for many years and the opportunity that this venue posed seemed a perfect showplace for our estate grown wines” said Stevens.

Airfield Estates has proudly partnered with Portland area architect, Michael Flowers of MFA Architecture, and Camas area builder, Robertson and Olson Construction, on design and build out of the new Vancouver tasting room. The tasting room styling will tell the story of the Airfield Estates family farming history and explain the ties to aviation with a vintage farm feel. The farm, Airport Ranches, Inc., received its namesake due to the period during World War II in which over 500 pilots learned how to fly on the family’s property.
