Niles, IL – (July 9th, 2019), Zuccardi Valle de Uco (Mendoza, Argentina), a supplier partner of Winesellers, Ltd. since 1995, received two awards, for Best Vineyard in the World as well as best in South America.
Zuccardi Valle de Uco was awarded by The World’s Best Vineyards Academy formed by nearly 500 leading wine experts, sommeliers, and luxury travel correspondents from across the globe. Each one has been selected for their expert opinion of the international wine and wine tourism scene.
These awards have the support of International Wine Challenge and review more than 1,500 wineries around the world. As a result of their work, they select what they consider the 50 best vineyards. The Academy members also examine the whole experience: the wine, the gastronomy, the environment, the staff, the view, the price, the reputation, the accessibility and everything that makes a visit a rewarding experience for the visitors.
José Alberto Zuccardi, Director of Familia Zuccardi, said that “as a family, we put a lot of passion in what we do, and we are three generations working together for wine. Our goal is to give consumers a total experience of what Uco Valley is, through our wines. Also, thorough the ingredients that we use in our restaurant and even with the building, since our winery is entirely built in concrete manufactured with materials of the area. Everything we do is related to the terroir and is an expression of Argentina and of the Uco Valley. ”
Andrew Reed, founder of the Word’s Best Vineyards, mentioned that “wine is produced in around 60 countries around the world and is very important for many national economies. In the United States alone, 17% of all its travel agents are dedicated to wine and gastronomic tourism. ”

- Best Winery of South America and the World: Zuccardi Valle de Uco (Argentina).
- Best Winery of Europe: López de Heredia Viña Tondonia (Spain).
- Best Winery of Oceania and Asia: Rippon (New Zealand).
- Best Winery of North America: Robert Mondavi (United States).
- Best Winery of Africa: Vergelegen (South Africa).
- Best Middle Eastern Winery: Chateau Heritage (Lebanon).
