Fine Wine and Friendly Competition at Third Annual Carneros Wine Alliance Cornhole Tournament & Wine Tasting, August 10th at Etude Wines

Join Carneros wineries for an afternoon of fine wines and friendly competition, all benefitting local fire departments

Carneros, Napa and Sonoma, CA, June 18, 2019 – Show off the best pitch, flip or flop at The Carneros Wine Alliance third annual Carneros Cornhole Tournament and Wine Tasting. Hosted at Etude Wines in Carneros, Napa, this year’s event takes place Saturday, August 10th, 2019, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

The event begins with a tasting of exceptional Carneros wines from Artesa, Ca’ Momi, Calmere, Cuvaison, Etude, Poseidon Vineyard, Saintsbury, Sangiacamo, Schug Carneros Estate, Truchard, Viansa, ZD Wines and more. Come with an appetite, as Boxcar Fried Chicken and Carneros Resort and Spa will both offer an assortment of delicious fare. Attendees can also enjoy flavored waters from Hint Water and an olive oil tasting by California Olive Ranch. A lively community cornhole competition will follow. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Carneros Volunteer and Schell-Vista Fire Departments.

“With the Carneros region spanning both Napa and Sonoma counties, we’re no strangers to friendly rivalry,” said Emily Byrne co-chair of the Carneros Wine Alliance. “Our annual cornhole tournament has become a highlight of the summer, and the Etude Wines estate is a beautiful backdrop for an afternoon of competition and world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.”

Tickets are $50 per person before July 4th, and $60 after July 4th, which includes a walk-around wine tasting, small bites and participation in the lively Cornhole Tournament. Tickets can be purchased online here. Etude Wines is located at 1250 Cuttings Wharf Road, Napa.
