Clare Rose and Union Beer Distributors Sign on with National Rosé Brand

NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. – May 30, 2019 Clare Rose, Anheuser-Busch’s main distributor in the Long Island region of New York, and Union Beer Distributors today announced a partnership with Rosé All Day, the rosé wine that brought the global social media catchphrase to life. Diving into the wine space, the distributors will now sell Rosé All Day to on and off premise accounts across the Long Island and New York area.

Rosé All Day launched in 2017 and has since become a major force nationwide, expanding in 2018 from the original Grenache, a Sparkling Rose, to a Beaujolais, and of course Rose in can in both still and sparkling. Top lifestyle publications have covered the brand including Cosmopolitan, Bustle, Harper’s Bazaar, InTouch, Refinery29, Marie Claire, and more.

The Rosé All Day Beaujolais, Rosé All Day Sparkling, and Rosé All Day Grenache are available in 750 ml bottles with the former two retailing at approximately $14.99 and the latter for approximately $12.99. Rosé All Day Still and Bubbly is also available as a 4-pack of cans for $14.99. For distributor and wholesale pricing, please contact your Clare Rose and Union Beer Distributors sales representative or use Clare Rose’s DSD Link app to order directly.

Effective immediately, the partnerships are based on marked consumer demand for wine brands and the wild growth of the rosé wine category. As traditionally beer-focused distributors, both Clare Rose & Union are excited to bring the wine with the catchphrase that started it all, “Rosé all day”, to the New York market. Based on current consumer trends, wine continues to gain “share of throat” across the legal drinking age population, making this the opportune time for these typically beer-focused distributors to enter the wine space.

Clare Rose, Anheuser-Busch’s sole distributor in the Nassau/Suffolk area of Long Island, is making a splash with their entry into the wine market with Rosé All Day, its first ever wine. Similarly for Union, this will be their first bottled wine, although they will carry both the still and bubbly cans as well.

Rosé All Day is imported into the United States by New York-based, Biagio Cru Wines & Spirits. This new partnership will focus on extending the brand’s circulation within bars, restaurants, retailers, and event venues across the New York and Long Island area.

“We are excited to be a part of this marriage of the wine and beer worlds,” says Darren Restivo, a principal of Biagio Cru and Estate Wines. “Clare Rose is a major player in beverage distribution on Long Island, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have them reaffirm how much consumers are asking for Rosé All Day in both bottles and cans.”

“The rosé boom in the past few years has been unprecedented in the beverage industry and shows no sign of being a quick trend – it’s here to stay. Using our extensive network, we plan to get Rosé All Day in the right spots from bars and restaurants to stores and the hottest venues,” said Sean Rose, CEO of Clare Rose.
