Restaurant commits proceeds of the event to non-profit serving Napa’s Latino community
Napa, Calif. April 11, 2019 Landmark Napa Valley winery & restaurant Ca’ Momi and Puertas Abiertas, a Napa Valley family resource center connecting Latinos with vital social, economic and healthcare resources, announced a fundraising partnership to be kicked-off May 3, 2019 at Ca’ Momi’s twice-monthly dance celebration ‘La Noche Latina’. In addition to the partnership, Ca’ Momi will punctuate the evening with a donation of all proceeds from ticket sales and specialty cocktails to Puertas Abiertas.
“We’re excited to use the success and voice of La Noche Latina to introduce Puertas Abiertas and its important work to our extended Ca’ Momi community,” said Chef/Owner Valentina Guolo Migotto. “We’re very much aligned with the organization’s vision and mission and are going to have a lot of fun raising awareness and funds May 3 and beyond.”
La Noche Latina has become a staple in the city’s entertainment mix, as the restaurant celebrates the heritage of many of its employees, clientele and the wider Napa community. In just a few years the event has blossomed into a standing-room only “community-wide whirlwind dance party presented with the intoxicating rhythms of salsa, cumbia and merengue traditions.”
Local DJ Jose Miguel will provide the musical backdrop for the evening, beginning at 10:00 PM. Giveaways and raffle items will be presented in an effort to raise additional funds for Puertas Abiertas. Specialty drinks will be available by sponsoring providers Tahoe Blue & Gran Dovejo. Raffle items will include Ca’ Momi dining & wine packages, and wine collections from some of the valley’s other fine wineries.
