Healdsburg, Calif. (January 11, 2019) — Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Boswell to Executive Vice President of Sales. In this role, Jim will be responsible for all wine sales throughout the United States and abroad, reporting directly to Owner and Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Carano.
Carano states, “Time and time again, Jim has demonstrated incredible prowess for his work, as well as a deep commitment to the Ferrari-Carano brand. We are all looking forward to his continued growth and success as part of our team.”
Boswell has served the company for ten years, during which time he rose quickly through the ranks from Florida Sales Manager to Southeast Regional Sales Manager and then to Vice President of Sales for the Eastern United States. A graduate of Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality Management, Boswell is a seasoned beverage industry professional with experience spanning such companies as Westin Hotels, Fairmont Hotels and Premier Beverage (also known as Breakthru Beverage). In his final role before joining Ferrari-Carano in 2008, Boswell ran the on-premise wine division in South Florida for Premier.
“When I was first hired at Ferrari-Carano, I immediately knew that I joined a family and didn’t just accept a job. I am honored to continue Don and Rhonda’s vision of bringing world-class wines into the market, while extending excellent customer service to our distributors, trade partners and consumers alike,” states Boswell. “In such a thriving and competitive marketplace, success is not what I alone can accomplish but what our team can accomplish––and I trust that, together, we will rise to the occasion.”
