Offering technical corks utilizing Supercritical CO2 via its CWINE Brand
(NAPA, Calif.) – Trefinos USA announces its partnership with Pioneer Packaging to represent their technical cork stoppers, CWINE, in the Pacific Northwest. Established in 1984, Pioneer Packaging offers wineries extensive packaging options from Glass and One-Way kegs to Direct to Consumer packaging supplies.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth with our CWINE products in California and are very excited to be partnering with Pioneer in the Pacific Northwest. We think the best way to enter the Oregon, Washington and Idaho markets is with an established local supplier whose reputation with its customers is second to none when it comes to customer service and delivering the highest quality product possible.” Said Ron Angold, Trefinos Business Development Manager of North America.
“Family owned and operated, Pioneer Packaging began serving the Northwest wine industry beginning in 1991 with Direct to Consumer wine packaging; since then the industry has become our fastest growing business segment. The Northwest is expansive geographically, so we developed an in-house distribution network running our own trucks throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. This allows us to efficiently deliver a pallet or a truckload throughout the region with no additional freight charges. We are excited to add the Trefinos CWINE line of technical corks to our product mix as we feel Trefinos’ quality and dedication to this important industry aligns with our own.” Said Mike Steele, president of Pioneer.
Trefinos USA is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of technical corks, offering supercritical CO2 for the eradication of TCA below detectable levels and over 150 other non-desirable aromatic compounds. Each cork has an individual guarantee and is offered in 3 different ranges of permeability, ensuring consistency from bottle to bottle.
Pioneer Packaging was established in Kent, WA 1984 by Bob Steele, our Chairman and CEO. We added another warehouse and office facility in Tualatin, OR in 2006 to better serve our growing customer base. We offer the wine industry a one stop shop of quality winery packaging products – Bottles and Closures and other production supplies to DTC packaging to Tasting Room products. We feel very fortunate to be part of this dynamic and rapidly growing Northwest industry.
