The finale in our Organic Field Day Series. Join us at the Opus One Trial Vineyard for an in-depth look at ground cover management as it relates to soil health in an organic setting. The day draws on an active collaboration between Opus One, Eco-Management, and the Napa UC Cooperative Extension, offering participants a rare window into ongoing research and real-world application taking place at one of Napa Valley’s most storied estates. Through field-side discussion, the event explores how cover crops, native species, and thoughtful ground management contribute to biologically active soils, erosion and drainage control, and long-term vine health. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of how organic ground cover strategies can be tailored to support both vineyard productivity and ecosystem resilience.
