An Intense Start to 2026 for Cavazza’s Volcanic Wines

From Wine Paris to ProWein, the Montebello Vicentino winery opens 2026 with a busy international calendar, focusing on indigenous grape varieties, new vintages and the restyling of the Cicogna Selection.

January 30, 2026 (Montebello Vincentino, Italy) — 2026 opens with a full agenda for Cavazza, the historic winery based in Montebello Vicentino, which in the first months of the year will take part in some of the most important trade fairs in Italy and abroad. A journey designed to present the estate’s wines, production choices and a vision deeply rooted in its territories, while engaging in dialogue with international markets.

From 9 to 11 February, the winery will move to Paris for Wine Paris 2026, hosted at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Considered one of the most strategic events for the global wine market, the fair returns after the success of the 2025 edition, which recorded record numbers of visitors and international exhibitors. Cavazza will present its most recent vintages for tasting, from Gambellara Classico to Lessini Durello Spumante Brut Millesimato 2024, as well as the Tai Rosso from the Colli Berici, telling the story of two historic viticultural areas in the Vicenza province through a coherent and recognisable style.

The international journey will continue at ProWein Düsseldorf, from 15 to 17 March 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for wines and spirits and a key reference point for professionals from all over the world. Here Cavazza will present its most complete offering, with particular attention to the new vintage of Bocara Gambellara Classico 2025, unveiled in exclusive preview at ProWein, and to the latest releases from the Colli Berici, including the red wines of the Cicogna Selection from the 2021 vintage.

The Cicogna Selection represents one of the key messages Cavazza brings to the international stage in 2026. The recent label restyling marks an important step in the winery’s evolution: a renewal that enhances the historic image of the stork, making it brighter and more essential, without denying its origins. A clear sign of continuity and vision, expressing an estate that is firmly connected to its territory while remaining attentive to the evolution of taste and market dynamics.

About Cavazza
Founded in 1928 in Montebello Vicentino, Cavazza is one of the historic producers of the Veneto region. The winery has long been a benchmark for Garganega cultivation in the Gambellara Classico DOC, a small appellation located on an ancient, extinct volcano that continues to impart distinctive character to its wines.
In the 1980s, the family expanded to a second terroir: the Colli Berici, of marine origin and highly suited for expressive red wines—both native varieties such as Tai Rosso and international ones like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Today, Cavazza farms 130 hectares across the two denominations, producing around 600,000 bottles per year. The estate is SQNPI-certified, with a strong focus on biodiversity and renewable energy.
