2026 Event To Feature Over 20 El Dorado County Wineries

January 22, 2026 (Placerville, CA) — The El Dorado Winery Association’s (EDWA) Passport Weekend returns for its 35th year on April 18-19, 2026. The popular annual event allows guests to experience over 20 family-owned wineries throughout El Dorado County on a single ticket, with each winery offering signature food and wine tastings, reserve wines, and other surprises. Early Bird tickets, now available through January 31, 2026, offer a $10 savings on tickets.
“We’re excited to showcase our wineries again this spring,” said El Dorado Winery Association President Teena Hildebrand. “Our annual Passport festival lets guests experience our wineries’ unique mountain-grown terroir, beautiful tasting rooms, and generous hospitality.”
Like last year, everyone is a VIP at Passport. Guests can choose from three ticket types: one-day, two-day, and Designated Driver. Early Bird tickets offer a $10 savings and will be available through January 31, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
“We’re focused on making every guest’s journey seamless,” explained Hildebrand. “By offering access to over 20 wineries on a single ticket, we’ve created a wine-tasting experience that is as effortless as it is exceptional. The weekend also gives visitors the chance to be a wine club member for a day, with great values that only happen once a year.”
This year’s wineries boast a wide range of award-winning wines, unique varietals, and tasting experiences in the Greater El Dorado, Carson Road, Pleasant Valley, and Fair Play regions of El Dorado Wine Country. Wineries featured include Boeger Winery, Bumgarner Winery (both locations), Busby Cellars, Chateau Davell Boutique Winery, Crystal Basin Cellars, Docmanov Vineyards & Winery, Golden Leaves Vineyard & Winery, Holly’s Hill Vineyard & Brewery, Lava Cap Winery, Madroña Vineyards, Medeiros Family Wines, Mellowood Vineyard, Narrow Gate Vineyards, Nello Olivo Winery, Shadow Ranch Vineyards, Sierra Vista Winery, Skinner Vineyards, Toogood Estate Winery, Vista Del Mirador Winery, and Windwalker Vineyard.
