January 12, 2026 (Napa Valley, CA) — The Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) presents the final two webinars of its Business of Vineyards Series on Marketing Resiliency on January 20, 2026, and Legal Resiliency on February 10, 2026. NVG’s initial webinar on Financial Resiliency was held in December 2025.
The Marketing Resiliency webinar offers a forward-looking session on how growers can stand out in today’s evolving wine grape market. Michael Cuffe, Napa native and founder of Napa Valley Creative Agency, will share practical strategies for positioning the vineyard, telling stories authentically, and building strong partnerships with wineries. Attendees will gain insight into what resonates with today’s buyers and how to strengthen a vineyard’s visibility and brand presence.
The final webinar on Legal Resiliency will offer tools to minimize risk and ensure long-term success. Scott Greenwood-Meinert of Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP will share insights on navigating grape sales agreements, addressing common challenges, and strategies for protecting a vineyard’s legal interests in an evolving marketplace.
Napa Valley Grapegrowers Business of Vineyards Webinar Series is supported through the USDA’s Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) program. In addition, NVG will invest more than $45,000 directly into grower services throughout 2026, with a priority on small producers. These grant-funded services are designed to build business resiliency and long-term sustainability. To be eligible for complimentary one-on-one services, growers are encouraged to attend the corresponding Business of Vineyards webinar in their area of interest. Participants will receive an in-depth Business of Vineyards webinar focused on financial, marketing, or legal strategies, as well as personalized one-on-one consultations with financial advisors, marketing experts, or attorneys in support for the grower community.
“Growers have to be part of the story. If we want Napa Valley to thrive, we need stronger partnerships with wineries and marketing teams, and we need to bring the vineyard perspective forward,” stated NVG Board Member Petroski of Massican Wines. “When consumers know the land and the people behind the wine, it creates lasting loyalty.”
