The exclusive Hamptons soirée welcomed an intimate group of VIPs and vibrant personalities into Dom Pérignon’s ‘Exploration of Tactility’ premiere. After arriving at the 21-acre estate via a luxurious yacht voyage, guests enjoyed the signature Dom Pérignon solo tasting – a sensory experience of the champagne by echoing their textural qualities through sound – amidst the scenic oasis. This was followed by a gastronomic experience that harmonized the champagnes and redefined the notion of tactility – exploring textures, senses, and the precise nature of the new vintages. Chef Mallmann, known for his distinctive 7-Fire cooking technique, took inspiration from the dynamic champagnes and created a menu that mirrored their contrasting profiles. Each dish, from salt-crusted salmon to whole lambs with gremolata sauce, presented an invitation to the complexity and prestige inherent in a Dom Pérignon vintage.

The evening concluded with a captivating music performance held on a floating platform suspended on the water, harmonized through Bang & Olufsen speakers and leading into intimate fireside toasts led by Dom Pérignon’s Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon. Guests raised their glasses to celebrate Dom Pérignon’s latest creations and an experience that elevates the worlds of gastronomy and fine wine, marrying them through a creative play on the notion of tactility.

For the following three evenings, this one-of-a-kind experience will open to the public. Guests can reserve this immersive gastronomic journey by submitting an inquiry via THIS LINK for the events scheduled on Friday, July 19th; Saturday, July 20th; and Sunday, July 21st. More Dom Pérignon “Explorations of Tactility” will be available at select accounts in New York City, Chicago and Washington D.C., where esteemed chefs around the country will interpret the vintages to craft dishes that epitomize the essence of harmony through tactility.

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015

Born under the auspices of a luminous year, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 is at the same time deep and tactile as if the extreme character of the year, with soils dried out by intense sun, had transmitted something mysterious tactile, it caresses with an interior generosity, the generosity of ripe matter that gradually opens to floral notes.

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2 (P2)

Now, after seven additional years of maturation, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006 has reached its Plénitude 2, a new era in its expression.

Maturation time is essential for Dom Pérignon. It is organic, active, and energetic. Time prolongs all that nature has to offer by opening up a whole new space for the winemaker. For a given Dom Pérignon Vintage, it often brings an unpredicted, surprising and mysterious element, which complements it, and traces a new step in its harmony.

Vintage 2006 has the distinctive ability to become refined over time, to become more precise, to reach a higher elevation. In the seclusion of Dom Pérignon’s cellars, the working lees have brought it to its second Plénitude, a streamlined version of itself. The mouthfeel is marked by a more present saline tension. Bitterness has gained in subtleness and delicacy, bringing balance to the generosity with which 2006 was born.

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 and Vintage 2006 Pléntitude 2 will be available from August 2024.
