Aged and Stored for 20 Years at Taylor Fladgate & Fonseca Cellars
(NEW YORK, NY – March 29, 2023) – The Fladgate Partnership, today announces the U.S. re-release of two exceptional 2003 Vintage Ports, aged and stored at the winey for 20 years. The 2003 Vintage Ports will be available as limited-editions: Taylor Fladgate 2003 Vintage Port (20% ABV; 750ml, $160 SRP; 375ml, $85; 1,000 bottles worldwide) and Fonseca 2003 Vintage Port (20% ABV; 750ml, $140 SRP; 375ml, $75); 1,500 bottles worldwide), both the ultimate collector’s wines.
The 2003 Vintage Ports matured for decades in their respective winery cellars slowly attaining the sublime elegance and power which are the hallmarks of the Taylor Fladgate and Fonseca style. With thick granite walls and very high ceilings they maintain a steady low temperature throughout the year, ensuring that these wines have been aged exactly how they were meant to be aged, in their original environment which is best suited for their development.

The 2003 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port is a dark indigo color with a narrow magenta rim. The 2003 Vintage Port is packed with concentrated grapey flavors which intensify through the seemingly endless finish. This wine is an archetype of restrained power, its elegance conceals massive inner strength and stamina.
FONSECA 2003 VINTAGE PORT
20% ABV; 750ml, $140 SRP; 375ml, $75
The Fonseca 2003 Vintage Port is a fine deep color with a brick red edge featuring a depth of nose that is sweet, harmonious, and rich. Soft touches of dark chocolate and cherry deliver a harmonious, elegant wine of fine structure with hints of spice and mint, and a focused fruit layer.
