Collective Napa Valley Vintage Celebration
November 4 - November 5
Harvest represents not only the culmination a single growing season for the winegrowing community; it also serves as a moment in which to reflect on the gifts of nature and the legacy of previous generations. Harvest is a symbol of both continuity and renewal.
We invite you to celebrate with us the birth of a new vintage and to share in the centuries-old heritage of this very special corner of the Earth. You will experience extraordinary tastings with an array of legendary winemakers, have the opportunity to venture into some of wine country’s most beautiful vineyards, and—most importantly—play a part in the continued vitality of this natural treasure called the Napa Valley.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4
Be among the first to hear the latest news directly from Napa Valley as we recap the harvest and discuss the 2022 vintage with winemakers throughout Napa Valley. This broadcast will be available remotely for all Collective Napa Valley members to listen in from wherever you might be in the world.
The Winemaker’s Tasting
Celebrate Napa Valley’s excellence in winemaking at this traditionally ‘winemaker-only’ event. Savor a first taste of the vintage, share wines from those who inspire you, and delight in a delicious family-style lunch as we raise a toast to the 2022 vintage resting in cellars throughout Napa Valley.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5
Boots on the Ground
Experience Napa Valley’s forward-thinking agriculture first-hand and learn about the important role this plays in our forestry and fire mitigation efforts. Visit a vineyard open for a ‘boots on the ground’ field trip. Walk Newton Vineyard, Chappellet Vineyards or To Kalon Vineyard at Robert Mondavi Winery with several vintner hosts who will share their work and inspiration. Lunch with new friends will follow along with impactful stories and thought-provoking conversation focused on the future of Napa Valley.
Vintage Celebration Dinner
Share in the camaraderie and dedication to doing good as we gather for a beautiful evening at Opus One Winery. Three-Michelin-starred chef, Christopher Kostow, will draw upon his own American upbringing and the singular beauty and bounty of the Napa Valley to cook food that is thoughtful, personal and in concert with his community. Enjoy wines from Napa Valley Vintners member wineries, and, in the spirit of the evening, take the opportunity to secure your spot for special events and offerings in the new year along with the opportunity to make a difference in the future of Napa Valley. Let’s plant the right trees in the right places, build appropriate fire roads, maintain our forests for future generations and have a great time doing it together.
