BloodRoot Wines Presents “The Ramble” with Lord Huron to Headline

Music & wine lovers unite for change during multi-day music festival

(Healdsburg, CA – April 10, 2024) – Kelly and Noah Dorrance, owners of BloodRoot Wines and Reeve Wines, are proud to announce the return of The Ramble, a two-day homegrown music and wine festival in Healdsburg, CA taking place June 7 and 8, 2024. Headlined by acclaimed indie-rock band Lord Huron, and featuring a diverse lineup of acclaimed artists, including Andrew Bird, Cautious Clay, The Nude Party, The Coffis Brothers, and Spike Sikes, the festival will donate all proceeds to GIFFORDS in efforts to support gun safety reform. Available now, both VIP and General Admission tickets may be purchased here.

Born out of a passion for live music, wine, community and giving back, the second annual incarnation of The Ramble continues this tradition, with 100% of proceeds benefiting GIFFORDS to support gun safety. “As a small family-run business, we love bringing joy and connection to our community, and The Ramble allows us the opportunity to combine our passions for wine, food, and music, while also giving back,” says Kelly Dorrance. “This year we are honored to expand the festival’s impact by aiming to raise $100,000 for GIFFORDS critical work to end gun violence, a cause deeply personal to us. The generous support of the artists and our community are making this possible.”

The two-day event is packed with a stellar lineup of celebrated musicians alongside local wine and culinary offerings. The Ramble kicks off on Friday, June 7 with an intimate VIP artist reception and gathering, followed by an opening night party in downtown Healdsburg featuring The Coffis Brothers. The festivities continue on Saturday, June 8 with the main event at Healdsburg Community Center Field from 12 to 8 p.m., showcasing Lord Huron in the most intimate show the band will play all year. Also taking the stage is Andrew Bird, Cautious Clay, The Nude Party, Spike Sikes and The Coffis Brothers. Attendees will enjoy food from local purveyors, beer, wine and an inspirational and informative exhibit with GIFFORDS. An afterparty at BloodRoot Wines will feature DJ Con Queso, Miguel Briseno of Lord Huron.

The 2024 festival holds a special place in Kelly and Noah Dorrance’s hearts. After losing their 9-year old niece, Evelyn, in the Nashville Covenant School shooting, they were determined to turn their passion for live music into a vehicle for keeping our communities safe. Since its inception, The Ramble has been committed to raising money to promote gun safety. In a valiant effort to support this need and like-minded organizations, all proceeds from the 2024 festival will be donated to GIFFORDS. Led by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, GIFFORDS is a non-profit organization committed to shifting culture, changing policies, challenging injustice, and inspiring Americans across the country to prevent gun violence.

“Live music and wine are at the center of our lives and we are passionate about both, but even more importantly, we are passionate about family and community,” says Noah Dorrance. “We created The Ramble to bring together all of these elements and are incredibly fortunate to have a strong foundation of support that stands with us in our overall mission.”

“Every day, families all across America are left grieving loved ones because our broken gun laws allowed a gun to fall into the wrong hands. We have policies we know will save lives, but passing those into law requires building a movement of passionate people who never give up,” said former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. “I am excited to partner with The Ramble because it meshes two of the things I’m most passionate about—music and ending gun violence. Can’t wait!”

In addition to the lineup of exceptional talent performing on the stage and various after-parties, The Ramble will showcase culinary delights from local restaurants promising to deliver an experience for the senses. At the helm of the culinary element is headlining sponsor Little Saint, a Healdsburg favorite known for thoughtful plant-based dishes and wine pairings. Also serving as a local live music venue known for bringing in acclaimed international artists such as Phoebe Bridgers and Jenny Lewis, Little Saint is a natural fit given their continued support of GIFFORDS and its important purpose.

This year’s festival promises to galvanize attendees with both the main event and intimate gatherings throughout Healdsburg. VIP tickets ($350) include access to all events, while Saturday GA tickets are available for Saturday Ramble for $130 ($65 for children).

The 2024 festival is also supported by national and local sponsors such as Little Saint, Hotel Healdsburg, SingleThread, Levi’s, American Giant, Moonlight Brewing Company, Pura Event Design, Shelter Co. and Encore Event Rentals.
