Emily Martin Events Hosts Live Instagram Tastings to Support Small Businesses

Emily Martin of The JetSetting Fashionista and Emily Martin Events Hosts Instagram Live Tastings Benefitting Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen Covid-19 Food Relief #ChefsForAmerica

SAN FRANCISCO (May 29, 2020) – Emily Martin, founder of The Jet Setting Fashionista (@JetSettingFashionista), Emily Martin Communications & Events (EME), and Pinots & Plaid Luxury Wine Event is collaborating with top wineries, winemakers & culinary partners to bring people together digitally and support community spirit amid crisis. The goal of the Instagram Live events on The JetSetting Fashionista is to offer a little bit of fun while helping support small business. Participants are encouraged to make a donation to support Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen Covid-19 Food Relief#ChefsForAmerica.

“We all feel isolated during these challenging times, and now more than ever, it’s important to connect with each other, share stories that brighten our spirits, learn new things and have fun,” said Emily. “I’m including a fundraising component to help raise money for World Central Kitchen Covid-19 Food Relief #ChefsForAmerica, as I volunteered with WCK during the 2019 fires in Sonoma and remain impressed by the impact they have made in helping those in need during crisis.  Therefore, I am asking viewers to make a donation (donate here) to this organization in the spirit of helping others during this global crisis.”

Emily, also known as The JetSetting Fashionista, collaborated with top names in the wine, culinary and spirits industry to offer lively and engaging discussions and tastings and share discounts for pre and post Instagram Live Events to help partners generate sales through the IG Lives. The program kicked off with a celebratory Champagne toast and educational Instagram Live featuring Billecart-Salmon Champagne and a local Wine Bar and client of EME, Velvet 48 located in Burlingame CA. Guests were invited to buy Billecart-Salmon ahead of time to join for the tasting while also supporting #smallbusinesses. Next, Emily welcomed Diane Mina of Diane’s Bloody Mary for a Bloody Mary demonstration, sharing information about her secretive recipe (available for sale at Williams Sonoma and BevMO) and ways to – literally – spice it up with help from celebrity chef hubby, Michael Mina. You can Watch prior Instagram Lives on The JetSetting Fashionista’s YouTube Channel.
