January 6, 2026 (Walla Walla, WA) — Long Shadows Vintners announced today the promotion of Colin Cornett to Vice President of Sales. Cornett, who has served as the winery’s National Sales Manager since 2018, will now lead Long Shadows’ overall sales team, including direct oversight of international sales and key Pacific Northwest markets.
With more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Cornett brings a deep understanding of fine wine sales and distribution, both on-premise and off-premise. He joined Long Shadows after seven years leading top-performing sales teams at Republic National Distributing Company in Dallas, Texas. He is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and holds a WSET Advanced certification.
In his expanded role, Cornett will continue to manage national sales while also working closely with Long Shadows president and CEO Chuck Hill and Northwest Sales and Marketing Manager Matt Wollen to support customers and distributors in the Pacific Northwest. “Colin’s collaborative leadership style, deep knowledge of fine wine, and proven success as our National Sales Manager make him the ideal person for this role,” said Hill. Cornett will also oversee national sales and distribution for all Nine Hats Wines.
