Asian Wine Association of America Partners with Plate by Plate San Francisco for Annual Gala Celebrating Community Development

October 8, 2025 (San Francisco, CA) — The Asian Wine Association of America (AWAA) is pleased to announce its partnership with Plate by Plate San Francisco for its highly anticipated annual Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 11th.

By partnering with cultural institutions, culinary leaders, and nonprofit organizations, AWAA works to highlight the wines and voices of the AAPI community—advancing awareness and appreciation both within the industry and across the broader cultural landscape.

The Plate by Plate SF Gala serves as the signature fundraising benefit of Project by Project’s San Francisco chapter, spotlighting over 40 acclaimed restaurants and beverage partners from throughout the Bay Area. Guests will enjoy an evening of exceptional cuisine, live entertainment, and community storytelling—all in support of this year’s campaign theme, Community Development.

Proceeds from the Gala will benefit ASIAN, Inc., a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic equity through affordable housing, small business development, and financial empowerment for Asian Americans and other underserved communities.

“It is with great pleasure that we support Project by Project’s initiatives as we advance our shared mission to empower diverse voices in our communities,” said Susan R. Lin, Master of Wine, President and Co-Founder of the Asian Wine Association of America. “We are proud to present the wines of our member vintners for their Gala.”

The wines from member vintners Adonna Wines, LangeTwins Winery/Akiyoshi, Marchelle Wines, and RD Winery will be poured at the Plate by Plate San Francisco Gala.
