The Tedeschi archive, inaugurated in 2024, makes available labels of older vintages that provide the experience of appreciating the evolution of their wines

February 7, 2025 – The perfect wine for Valentine’s Day? An Amarone. Passionately red; timeless like love. Tedeschi, a Valpolicella excellence, proposes their “Marne 180,” an Amarone from Valpolicella DOCG that is a wine with contemporary character capable of evolving magnificently over time and perfect to toast unforgettable moments.

In 2024, the Tedeschi winery inaugurated their Wine Archive, which preserves the old vintages of their labels that reveal the countless nuances of the “Tedeschi style.” It is from among these wines that those in love can pick a vintage tied to one of their important moments: the first date, the honeymoon, a unique anniversary.

Marne 180 – an Amarone of timeless fascination, fruit of grapes originating on hillside vineyards in Valpolicella. These grapes are dried for about 4 months in a controlled environment, then vinified to give life to a wine that matures in Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years and is further refined in the bottle for at least 6 months. The result is a wine with extraordinary structure, freshness, and balance as well as a versatility that makes it ideal to pair with red meat, game, and aged cheeses. The name pays homage to the marly soils on which the vines grow as well as the 180 degree southwest to southeast exposure of the vineyards. Every bottle encapsulates complexity, which is always united by elegance, along with the freshness and longevity of Valpolicella, a land that leaves its indelible imprint in every sip.

An Amarone, which like love, grows and perfects with the passage of time.
