Bodega Trivento Combines the Best of Mendoza Winemaking and Gastronomy at New Onsite Restaurant, Los Vientos

(Dec. 11, 2024; Mendoza, Argentina)–Bodega Trivento, the world’s No. 1 best-selling Argentine wine brand, has opened its highly anticipated restaurant, Los Vientos, onsite at the winery in Maipú, Mendoza. The restaurant is rooted in the flavors of Mendoza, showcasing the value of traditional local cuisine and the richness of local produce.

“Our goal with Los Vientos is to offer guests a memorable, complete and truly Mendocinean experience when they visit our winery,” says Fernanda Vila, Deputy Manager of Tourism & Hospitality at Trivento. “Each regionally authentic dish we serve has been specifically developed to complement and enhance the experience of tasting our wines from our coveted vineyards in the Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley.”

Guests of Los Vientos can choose between two dining options from Chef Nacho Molina: a three-course à la carte menu ($90) and a seven-course tasting menu ($120). Both experiences begin with the winery’s innovative White Malbec as a cocktail, and each dish is served with a wine pairing from Trivento’s Golden Reserve line and a brand of wines served exclusively at the restaurant.

“When curating the restaurant’s menu, we consider the time of year and the variety of produce that each of the four seasons offers us,” says Chef Nacho Molina. “This year’s spring menu highlights fresh vegetables, herbs and locally sourced meats, with dishes such as mushroom tempura with hazelnut gremolata, legume cream and merkén, beef tenderloin with tuber mille-feuille, yellow chili sauce and crispy cassava chips, and desserts such as a refreshing Malbec granita and a corn flan with whipped custard and candied pumpkin seeds.”

B Corp-certified Bodega Trivento’s environmental and social responsibility efforts are fully present at Los Vientos. The restaurant is dedicated to minimizing its environmental impact through every aspect of its operations, from hyperlocal sourcing to implementing responsible waste management. Los Vientos collaborates with local vendors, supports community development initiatives, and promotes fair and equitable labor practices.

Los Vientos is open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Reservations are preferred and can be made through the website www.trivento.com or by calling the restaurant directly at +54 261 586 2868.

About Bodega Trivento

Rooted in the energy of Argentina’s passion for wine, Trivento—meaning three winds—is synonymous with expressive, terroir-driven Malbec that paints a vivid portrait of Mendoza’s high-altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The character and quality of each wine is guided by the spirited vision of Chief Winemaker Germán Di Cesare, who honors the varied soils, mountain snowmelt and powerful winds that shape Mendoza’s vines.

In the United States, three distinct Trivento collections highlight the unique characteristics of two coveted sub-regions in Mendoza, Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley: Eolo, a single-vineyard luxury Malbec from century-old vines; Golden Reserve, a passionate expression of historic Malbec vines and Reserve, a beloved collection from estate vines. Founded in 1996, Trivento today welcomes visitors to experience the wine and culture of Mendoza at Bodega Trivento in Maipú or through a virtual tour.
