Four other Maison Louis Latour wines, including one Pinot Noir and two Chardonnays, earned gold medals and more than 90-point ratings.
CHICAGO, USA, June 26, 2024 – Five wines produced by Maison Louis Latour were recognized at the Sommeliers Choice Awards, which recently announced the results for the 2024 wine awards edition and were held on May 21 in Chicago.
With 1,500 wines from more than 30 countries participating globally, the 2024 Wine Awards truly showcased the event’s international significance. The wines were meticulously judged in five categories: food pairing ability, typicity, quality, value, and packaging.
Simonnet-Febvre Saint-Bris Sauvignon 2021, an exceptional-quality wine, won in the Top Wines by Varietal category, earning 96 points and the recognition of Best Sauvignon Blanc and Double Gold Medal.
Simonnet-Febvre Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé was also highlighted, receiving 91 points and a Gold medal. Simonnet-Febvre, a Chablis winery owned by Maison Louis Latour, has been producing sparkling wines using traditional methods since 1840. It is the only Maison in Chablis to produce crémants of Burgundy.
The judges also recognized three other Maison Louis Latour wines:

- Louis Latour Mâcon-Lugny “Les Genièvres” 2022 (Gold medal, 92pts)
- Louis Latour Mâcon-Villages “Chameroy” 2022 (Gold medal, 91pts)
