April 30, 2024, Napa Valley, CA – Registration is now open for the 26th Annual V Foundation Wine Celebration, August 1-4, 2024, in the heart of the Napa Valley. Hosted by legendary Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski, former Head Coach of Duke University Men’s Basketball, the series of events includes intimate vintner experiences, musical performances, the Gala Dinner featuring a spirited live auction, and an enlightening cancer research symposium.
Since 1999, the Wine Celebration has raised nearly $160 million, benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research. This annual signature series of events demonstrates that commitment, passion and giving become the catalyst for positive change.
Event highlights include:
Thursday, August 1
- A unique hallmark of the Wine Celebration, Dinner with the Docs will be held at Beringer Vineyards, Hudson House and HALL St. Helena. These intimate dinner events provide a unique opportunity to engage with some of the nation’s leading physicians and research scientists from prominent universities and cancer centers who represent the V Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee.
Friday, August 2
- The “Rock the V” party at The Pavilion at Estate Yountville will showcase the region’s best food and wine with a festive concert to get the crowd dancing under a starlit Napa Valley evening. Rock the V concludes with the ever-popular Silent Disco in the Estate’s Barrel Room.
Saturday, August 3
- The Kryzyewski Family Answer for Cancer Symposium at The Social at The Estate Yountville features V Foundation Grantees that will share their impact on cancer research. Attendees will learn more about the advancements in V funded colorectal cancer research.
- Following the symposium, the Wellness Experience will feature dynamic programming that will span storytelling and research.
- The highlight of the weekend, Saturday’s Gala Dinner & Auction, will be held at Nickel & Nickel Estate Winery in Oakville, Napa Valley. The event will be hosted by Proprietress Beth Nickel and Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski.
