The Vintages’ General Manager, Therese Straight, is particularly enthusiastic about the collection of wineries planning to pop-up for the hotel’s guests:

“I love that our celebration of harvest features wineries representing the region’s rich history and its exciting future. Producers like Bethel Heights Vineyard, Knudsen Vineyard, Stoller Family Estate, and Ponzi Vineyards are local icons with histories of family winemaking that date back to the early days of the Willamette Valley wine industry. And newer brands like Chosen Family Wines truly represent the next generation of winemaking here. Our guests are in for a treat.”

Early in the series on Friday, September 8, The Vintages’ guests will meet and taste with Chosen Family Wines’ Tiquette Bramlett, the first Black woman to lead a major U.S. winery and a frequent on industry award lists like Wine Enthusiast’s “40 Under 40” and Imbibe’s “Imbibe 75.” Now Vice President of Chosen Family Wines, NBA Champion Channing Frye’s Willamette Valley winery, Bramlett says the partnership with The Vintages is all about community.

“Chosen Family Wines is looking forward to popping-up at The Vintages in September to toast the 2023 harvest,” she said. “Our winery is rooted in community and in the moments that connect people from all walks of life over amazing wines. This partnership offers exactly that, and we’re happy to be a part of it.”
