Wine Competition, sponsored and run by the Tri Valley Conservancy, were announced at a special event held April 27, 2023, at Bella Rosa Event Center at Garré Winery in Livermore. The competition, founded by the Tri Valley Conservancy to recognize excellence in winemaking and is open to wineries making wines from Livermore Valley AVA fruit.

This year, 175 wines were entered into the 2023 Livermore Uncorked Competition by a record 33 wineries. A screening panel of primarily Napa area winemakers, assembled by TVC wine consultant Julie Schreiber, narrowed this down to 75 wines. Judges in the final medal round were Julie Schreiber, Nick Liang of Uncle Yu’s in Livermore and Savannah Vento Chun, sommelier.
