Award-Winning Cherry Wine Producer Frederiksdal to Launch Digital Collectibles on March 15 2023

LOLLAND, Denmark, March 3, 2023 — Frederiksdal, the unique award-winning cherry wine producer in Denmark, has announced its first NFT collection of Digital Collectibles – Friends of Frederiksdal. More than just an NFT (Non-fungible Token) with moving artwork, Frederiksdal adds even more utility value by offering owners unique membership benefits both in virtual and physical world. The Friends of Frederiksdal Digital Collectible collection will be released from the 15th of March 2023 onwards as complimentary digital membership cards, giving owners exclusive access to the wine maker’s chat room on Discord, as well as receiving special offers and discount codes from its online webshop.

Frederiksdal is the first and so far the only producer of wine made by cherries following the centuries-old principles for making traditional wine from grapes. The cherries ferment into wine and are kept both outside in glass vats and also inside in old French oak vats. The result is a highly acclaimed and prize-winning world-class quality wine.

“We have always been revolutionary in nature by creating a wine made by fermenting cherries, and now we have only begun to explore the diverse possibilities and utility potential of NFTs and digital collectibles,” said Harald Krabbe, CEO and Founder of Frederiksdal. “There is so much more that can be offered beyond just artwork and price speculation in NFTs, and we have many exciting plans to explore in the next few months to share our love for cherry wine and nature.”

Some of these exciting plans by Frederiksdal include creating future digital collectibles that are backed by rare physical bottles of wine, and a sponsorship program to help fund large-scale nature conservation projects. These digital collectibles will be on sale at Opensea.io/Frederiksdal in the coming months.
