Napa Valley, CA (November 10, 2022) — Lawrence Wine Estates’ collection of Napa Valley wineries is honored to announce a new initiative: In the Service of Others. This program aims to support and champion the non-profit agencies that are doing important work, in areas such as sustainability and health care, and are making a meaningful impact in the Napa Valley. Each estate within LWE collection will offer guests the option to add a monetary donation to their cart, with 100% of the donation being passed on to the featured nonprofit. Lawrence Wine Estates includes the following Napa Valley wineries: Heitz Cellar, Burgess, Stony Hill Vineyard, Brendel, and Ink Grade. Each holds a deep legacy of history and tradition while continuing to innovate in hospitality.

The first non-profit to be featured, for the remainder of 2022, is OLE Health. Based in the Napa Valley, OLE Health is dedicated to providing high-quality primary health care to the community. With a focus on the under and un-insured minorities, OLE Health provides low and no-cost health care, including adult and pediatric primary care, dental, women’s health and education. Celebrating their 50th year of continued service to communities that most need their services, Lawrence Wine Estates is proud to feature OLE Health as its first partner for In the Service of Others.
The non-profits will rotate three times per year and in addition to financial support, Lawrence Wine Estates will promote the organization on its website and social media. Lawrence Wine Estates’ future non-profit partners include The Roots Fund, from January to April, and The Napa Farmworker Foundation, from May to August.
With CEO McCoy serving as a founder and board member of The Roots Fund, Lawrence Wine Estates supports the organization’s mission to nourish and enrich the communities of color in the wine industry’. Founded in 2020, The Roots Fund provides resources to members of the BIPOC community interested in the wine industry by way of financial support, educational scholarships, wine education, mentorship, and job placement.
The Napa Farmworker Foundation provides education opportunities for farmworkers year-round. This organization provides a variety of programs annually that focus on developing skills in adult literacy, vineyard operations & safety, leadership & management, mentorship, and family life. Lawrence Wine Estates understands that farming is at the heart of all that they do here in the Napa Valley, and by directly supporting the men and women who dedicated their lives to farming our vineyards, they are investing in the future of the region.
