The wines will be included in the Holiday Helper bundle.

Stonewall, Texas – November 8, 2022 – Kuhlman Cellars is delighted to announce two new wines in time for Thanksgiving: the 2021 Viognier and the 2019 Alluvé. This is the first Viognier produced by Kuhlman Cellars since the 2019 vintage. The wines will first be made available to Kuhlman Cellars’ Vina Vita Wine Club this weekend and will be available for purchase next week starting November 14, 2022.

The new wines are:

  • 2021 Viognier – ($32)  The 2021 vintage marks Kuhlman Cellars’ eighth year producing Viognier from Bingham Family Vineyards. The brilliant yellow lemon color invites wine lovers to sip on this delightful wine and discover beautiful aromas of orange blossom, granny smith apple, nectarine and wet limestone. Prepare the palate for a flavor-packed experience with quince paste and a lingering zesty finish. This wine is an essential for the Thanksgiving table. Pairs beautifully with Kuhlman Cellars’ lemon bar cookie recipe. Buy the 2021 Viognier here
  • 2019 Alluvé – ($34) The 2019 vintage is back to the delicate fruity style with a great cherry “robe” perfectly matching the aromas of red cherry, raspberries, red apple, and soft thyme. The palate welcomes flavors of tart plum, persimmon, tobacco and is reminiscent of sitting by the fire during a Holiday celebration. This is a fantastic everyday wine or perfect to enjoy with appetizers such as queso, spinach artichoke dip, or liver pâté. Buy the 2019 Alluvé here.

The new wines will be paired with a large bag of Kuhlman Cellars’ signature herbed almonds and a holiday recipe card for the Holiday Helper Wine Bundle, available for $89 beginning on November 14, 2022.
