Napa Valley, CA (August 29, 2022) – Demeine Estates is thrilled to announce the appointment of fine wine professional Andrew Deitz to the role of Senior Vice President of Sales. With a history of success and leadership in on and off-premises accounts, Andrew will be instrumental to the continued growth of Demeine Estates. He will initially lead a team of seven sales managers across the country. Andrew will report to President Philana Bouvier and join Senior Vice President of Marketing and Global Brand Strategy Scott Diaz on the senior leadership team.

Founded by the Lawrence Family and Master Sommelier Carlton McCoy in 2020, Demeine Estates has rapidly expanded in the past year, more than doubling the size of both its team and its portfolio. In addition to the wineries of Lawrence Wine Estates (LWE), which include Heitz Cellar, Burgess, Ink Grade and Brendel, import wineries including Champagne Legraas & Haas, La Chablisienne and Cà Romé have joined their growing portfolio. Andrew’s vast wholesale and import experience representing esteemed producers from across the world shows his alignment with Demeine Estates’ core values of quality, sustainability and innovation. His experience in launching and representing import wineries is vital at this moment in Demeine Estates’ business.

“Andrew is joining Demeine Estates at a pivotal moment, and his diverse experience will contribute greatly to our business long term” says Bouvier. “With his proven expertise and background that includes entrepreneurship as well as roles representing some of the finest producers in the world, Andrew’s leadership and team spirit will be invaluable moving forward.”

Andrew joins Demeine Estates from Wilson Daniels, where he held the role of Vice President of Sales, Northeast Division. Prior to that, he led record increases in revenues and accounts sold at M.S. Walker in Massachusetts. Additionally, Andrew served as founder and CEO of Thirst Boston, and brings his entrepreneurial spirit and savvy to his role at the evolving Demeine Estates.

Andrew will manage strategy and team culture of the sales team, establishing reporting structures and driving market growth. He will work collaboratively with Demeine Estates’ producer partners, marketing and operations teams to set and achieve goals. He will also spearhead relationships with Demeine Estates’ distributor partners, ensuring both are working towards mutual success.

“Demeine Estates is embarking on a new phase of their business, and I look forward to preparing and delivering continued success with this team,” says Deitz. “Already, our standards are extremely high, and as I step into this role, I will continue to elevate our business in a way that reflects the quality of these producers and this team.”

Andrew holds a degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University, as well as a Level 2 Certification with Merit from the Boston University Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center. In his spare time he is an avid naturalist, fisherman, traveler, and winter sports enthusiast and can be found out to sea or on a mountain whenever possible. Andrew starts with Demeine Estates in mid-September.
