Liz Alessio Harvest Hoedown at NapaRio

August 15, 2022, Napa, CA — Napa City Councilmember Liz Alessio will host a Harvest Hoedown fundraiser for her 2022 reelection campaign for Napa City Council District 1 on Friday, September 30th, from 5:30 to 10pm at NapaRio, located at 943 Water Street in the Oxbow District of Napa.

The evening begins with a reception featuring music by Jeff Fetters, small bites and an open bar, followed by a western themed dinner provided by barbecue champion Pat Burke and Napa’s favorite Chef Bob Hurley, paired with a selection of Napa Valley wines, with presentations by former KTVU Sports Director Mark Ibanez, Napa Mayor Scott Sedgely and NapaRio proprietor and fashion designer Azadeh Riaz. The after-dinner party features dancing to the country blues sounds of Road Eleven, dessert stations and an open bar.
Tickets are limited to 125 guests, and are $175/pp until September 1, $185/pp thereafter. Sponsor opportunities begin at $500. For more information, to purchase tickets, or to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please visit lizalessio.com.
As a Councilmember, Liz has focused on maintaining Napa’s high quality of life by improving infrastructure, combatting climate change, increasing equity and inclusion, working towards solutions on affordable housing and homelessness, and championing economic development that provides residents with a living-wage. During the pandemic, Liz and the entire council helped bring landlords and renters together to enact a ground-breaking eviction protection program with rental subsidies and were able to provide micro-grants to struggling small businesses in the community. She was also instrumental in bringing folks together to provide PPE and face coverings for those in need. In 2021, she was selected by her council colleagues to serve as Vice Mayor.
Liz has been an active and positive presence in the community for decades, serving on several boards, coalitions, and committees, and has already received endorsements from a large and growing coalition of community members and leaders, including Congressman Mike Thompson, Senator Bill Dodd, Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, County Board of Supervisor Brad Wagenknecht, Napa Mayor Scott Sedgely, Former Napa Mayor Jill Techel and Former Napa Mayor Ed Henderson.
