Fourth annual event welcomes national speakers and panelists promoting inclusion and advancement of female leadership
Portland, Ore. (May 10, 2022) — Women in Wine Oregon, a nonprofit organization fostering inclusion and the advancement of female leadership, announces its full program for a one-day, in-person and livestream conference on Tuesday, July 19. Hosted at Willamette Valley Vineyards’ estate in Turner, the fourth annual conference features speakers and panels providing opportunities for personal and professional development. Tickets are on sale now for both the in-person and livestream experience.
Founded in 2019, Women in Wine Oregon amplifies female voices and promotes female leadership in the wine and beverage business. While the event was born in Oregon, the annual Women in Wine conference draws a national audience and a roster of speakers and panelists from a wide range of industries.
The July 19 conference features speakers of national renown, including Robin and Andréa McBride of McBride Sisters Wine, Jeri Andrews of XOBC Cellars, Maryam Ahmed of the Diversity in Wine Leadership Forum, and Marli Williams of Camp YES!. Two panels bring together local industry leaders for engaging conversations around The Future of Food moderated by Sara Hauman of Top Chef fame, and Connecting Through Generations moderated by Oregon wine icon Maria Ponzi.
In the afternoon, three breakout sessions are available: Women & Leadership with Shari Dunn of ITBOM Consulting, Avoiding Burnout with Coach Jen Matthews, and Navigating Difficult Conversations with Julia Sullivan of High Performance Diversity. The full lineup of speakers is below and bios can be found here.
In-person tickets include a light breakfast, access to all events, lunch, a networking happy hour, and recordings of all sessions.
“This year’s event is focused on “building bridges,” reconnecting all of us after a time of change and uncertainty,” says Women In Wine Oregon President Julie Dalrymple. “The lineup of speakers reflects our organization’s evolution over the past three years, expanding reach and gaining momentum as a powerful resource for women in the wine industry and beyond. We are excited to gather again in person to share in our commitment to elevating women’s voices and inspiring new leaders.”
In 2021, Women in Wine developed a mentorship program that pairs industry professionals with individuals looking for professional guidance. The first cohort is now in progress, with the goal of supporting long-term growth in the industry.
Tickets are now available for both in-person and virtual attendance of the July 19 conference.
- In-person: $259 (early bird tickets are $233, available through Oregon Wine Month (May))
